Laureen White, Esq. successfully represented our community in the Orion BZA hearings. Only a few community members have personally stepped up and paid substantial legal costs for our community. This selfless investment has benefited everyone fighting this battle. We all cherish our freedom, but it is not free.

Unlike Orion, most of us do not have an open checkbook funded by the taxpayers. You can bet, their lawyers will be in attendance and ready to make their final attack at the Plan Commission Hearing on June 10, 2025. Only with proper representation, will our David beat this Goliath once and for all.

The community has  established an account to legally protect our interests and land from utility scale solar farms through responsible zoning laws. Our community includes individual citizens from all walks of life vested in Jefferson County. All funds contributed will be used to pay for legal expenses, costs, and experts, if needed. You will not be entering into a legal contract. Your contribution can remain anonymous. You can request an invoice for any amount you would like to contribute.
