Our most recent giant is the 7 mil sf JPG hyperscale data center issued a permit as a warehouse, without any notice or opportunity to review the project

After a marathon public hearing on May 20, 2026 where more than 1,000 concerned citizens lined up in single file in the pouring rain only to be turned away for capacity limits; many lost any opportunity to speak. Of course, the Jefferson County BZA denied the appeal of their own administrative determination. We head to the courts next.

The community continues to defend and protect our interests and land from data centers, utility scale solar farms and more through responsible zoning laws with protective covenants. Our community includes individual citizens from all walks of life vested in Jefferson County.
